Lucy and Curtis, and of course the dogs, went with some ladies from church to Uvas Canyon. Despite the weather forcast, they only experienced a little rain. The scenary was beautiful and very serene. Last week the church TWEK group went to a Chocolate Factory. Curtis much prefers the forest!
This tempting morsel was trying to hide from the dogs. However, the dogs were not able to avoid the ticks. They had huge amounts of the detestible critters. Lucy had to hurry home to give all the dogs a bath.

The more blog posts I see of your week-ends, the more I wonder what on earth we can offer you for entertainment. I look out the window and see.........dead grass, dead trees, dead chickens (the predators have been waging war on us)- not one hint of beauty anywhere - oh well, I guess it will make you appreciate home more! It IS quiet though. Nice pics. Suzi
