Steinhart Aquarium and more

Before Jedidiah, Rachel, Kathryn left for Wisconsin, Grandma got to say good bye.

Curtis was amazed at how enthralled Isaac was at the exhibits. The concept of the glass was very strange to Isaac. He could not figure out why he could not touch the fish, snakes and lizards.

Presentation of future plans

Jedidiah and Rachel dressed in native attire when they presented their life plans to the cell group class.

The class was very interested.

The table had literature and some crafts.

Lucy and Rachel made very tasty native food for lunch, including baklava.

Visit from Wisconsin

Problem Windows

I know we need rain, but we are not ready for it. Our contractor put in the wrong kind of skylights for our roof. Our skylights require a 15% roof slope and ours has maybe 2%.

Isaac the Dentist?

Perhaps Isaac has made his vocational choice. Of course by them we probably won't even have any teeth.

Too Many Dogs!

Wait! We have to smile for the camera. Too bad I am not letting go! You first!

It gets noisy at times when they are all playing together. They are having a great time.

Joshua says I am the boss and you better listen to me! Darcy takes it well but sometimes she will assert herself and put him in his place.
They all say it's mine! Unfortunately the toy is the one that lost. Amazing how much stuffing can come out of one toy.

For those that don't know, no we did not get another dog, we are just watching Joshua, the Beagle for the month of January while his family is in India. He loves to play and tire out our three dogs. Poor Darcy has been a lot slower at her agility class on Monday nights. He also loves to bark. I hope our neighbors aren't mad at us. We recently decided to have him sleep in a kennel at night due to some unwelcome presents he was leaving us around the house. He accepted his internment quite well.

Nicolas' Arrival

We are over joyed with the arrival of Nicolas. It is certainly getting harder and harder for Mom (Lorraine) to keep track of how many great grandchildren she has. The tradition is she gets a collage of each grandchild to help her remember.

Reunion

We had a great reunion time. Have you ever tried to get twelve people, including two babies, with good expressions?

Isaac was curious with all the activities.

Tavo even let aunt Marsha hold him.

Of course Marsha brought a huge spread of food.

Tavo goes to Africa (actually The new Steinhart Aquarium)

We went to the new Steinhart Aquarium and Science Academy in San Francisco, along with most of the rest of California. It was really crowded. We explored the living roof.↑

Curtis got to carry Tavo. Curtis has the advantage of not having any hair to pull.↑

Somehow Lucy, Curtis and Tavo got transported to the safari in Africa.↑

An Afternoon at the Park

Today was mostly spent "hanging out" at home but later some people went to the park.

It was not always a happy time. ↓
