Curtis' Dog Project

Curtis made agility weave poles for Darcy and I to practice with. He went to class one week with us and took pictures of the equipment and next thing I knew he was making them. What a great guy! Now Darcy will be a champion. He also made a jump for her. What fun!

Off to Work!

Briana has started a job today in Livermore, actually she started yesterday with orientation. She is working for Senior Solutions taking care of seniors in a care facility place. She also may go to people's homes to work. She won't be home until Saturday as it is a live in type job. She will be working at the home M-F of next week too. After that she doesn't know where they will put her. It could be a live in situation or just day visits.
She is off. Isn't she cute in her scrubs!

Darcy's Agility Class

Darcy is taking a Agility class. Above she is learning to do the weave poles. At first she had no idea what I wanted her to do, but by the third time she understood. It was amazing to watch the dogs as they understood what was expected of them.
She has no problem with jumping. Next to the tunnel this is her favorite.

She zoomed over the A-frame. I had a time keeping up with her. The problem comes at the bottom. She is supposed to do a stick it, which is when the back feet stay on and the front feet are off. It is a little hard to stop that suddenly but she did pretty good. Below is a video of her going over the A-Frame.
