Visit with Gustavo Jr. and family

Lucy, Briana, and Curtis have been visiting Gustavo Jr., Trisha and Gustavo. There is nothing like holding your 5 day old grandson! He is so cute.

Despite the caesarian surgery, Trisha is doing well.

Little Gustavo looks especially small in his Father's hands.

Little Gustavo (Gustavo Jr. or Tavo or Tavito or Goose and maybe others) spends little time in the day in his crib. He is passed from one pair of eager arms to another.
Here is a very happy Grandma ...
... and here is a tired Granddad.

Isaac comes home!

Great Grandma was very happy to meet baby Isaac.
The dogs weren't too sure about him though.

This was taken while he was still in the hospital. He is not even 24 hours old yet.

Scottish Games

Curtis went to the Scottish Games and met Briana and Rob there. This picture is of course for Lucy. Curtis threatened to bring home one of these English wolfhounds.

Curtis wants to make a shield. He bought a 24 inch diameter table top and now has ideas on how to make it into a shield.

They are throwing these logs--amazing.

This is the hammer throw.

Curtis committed some offense and is being punished.

Here Curtis kills a horrible enemy.

Kayaking

Lucy and Curtis went kayaking with the church group in Del Valle. This year (as opposed to last year) they went in a double kayak. They made it all the way to the dam and back, supposably about 9 miles. Lucy may not want to do a double next year. However, she did take plenty of breaks while Curtis paddled. Other pictures are available on the church group (TWEK) blog spot.
