Trisha's Shower

Briana and I were happy to be able to make it to Trisha's shower this weekend. She sure has grown since Easter. She had a great shower and due to the wonderful people in her church they will have to buy very little for at least the first year of Little G's life. Well, okay they will have to be buying diapers.

You may not be able to see this too well but they are a cute little pair of Nike shoes.

They had a fun art project for people to do. We decorated Oneies of different sizes for Little Gustavo. Briana made two, a lion and a I love my Auntie. I made a very colorful train. Trisha even made one. A football one complete with Bernal and number 77 on the back which was his Daddy's number in highschool football.

TWEK and BLOG at Big Basin

The TWEK group, BLOG group and others went to Big Basin for a hike. It was wonderfully beautiful and shouted out the awesome glory of God.
Yes, you guessed correctly. Curtis is kissing a banana slug. Actually this was the fourth kiss. Tom kept messing up the picture taking (Curtis suspects on purpose) so that Curtis had to redo the kiss. It took hours to get the slim off the fingers. His slimmy lips are ready for Lucy's return. She could not make the hike because she was in San Diego for Trisha's baby shower.

Above is the Sempervirens Falls that we hiked to.

If anyone from the hike has some good pictures, particularly of the falls please send them to Curtis for posting.

Jedidiah's Birthday Activities

For Jedidiah's 28th birthday the Dallas family went to the Dallas Aquarium. It was a beautiful place. It was more than an aquarium as you'll see in the pictures.

Behold the manatee ...
... the beautiful flamingos...
... and the very strange seahorses.

From the aquarium we went on a picnic (indoor picnic) to the plaza, which is next to Dennis' work.
Some of us went ice skating.
We ended with a birthday cake for Jedidiah. The strawberries were pretending they were candles. We finally got back to the house at 11pm, it was a fun but exhausting day.
